Beyond that is a fish & chip shop, still called "Fowler's" by many Stainforth residents.
Attached to the fish & chip shop is Selles the chemists

Dutton's Electrical occupied what was once two separate shops. The extension to the shop, which was a sweet shop in early part of 1960's, was used by Mr Dutton as a toy shop. From there one could buy the leading brands of the day, such as Triang and Tonka toys.
Until 2002, the Stainforth Credit Union used the premises, before relocating to the house next door.
