BBC ONE is to continue its tradition of broadcasting fictional accounts of events in recent history, with a drama about life in a Yorkshire pit village during the miners' strike of 1984-85.

The cast and the characters they play are as follows:

Michelle (Christine Tremarco) - Gary (Jamie Draven) - Linda (Maxine Peake) - Paul (Adrian Bower)
Martin (Jason Flemyng) - Gordon (Clive Russell) - Charlie (David MacCreedy)
Colin (Danny Cunningham) - Addy (Mark Whiteley) - Nico (Dimitri Andreas)
Nigel (Neil Stuke) - Doreen (Barbara Marten) - Bev (Kelly Hollis)

During the several weeks that it took to organise and film Faith, I managed to meet and talk with all of the cast members and film crew. They were all very friendly and courtious, and very willing to help me make this section of the Stainforthonline site possible. I was allowed access to the film sets and I have put together these pages which include interviews, photographs, and film/TV biographies of those who shared our small town for a few weeks in the autumn of 2004.
