In Faith, Neil Stuke plays the part of a Met policeman, who leads a force of riot police, of which Paul is a member, into the fray at Newby Colliery. He is injured in the violent scuffle which ensues, but the confrontation has tragic consequences for Paul and the other members of his community.

I read somewhere that before becoming an actor, Neil worked in a clothes shop and as a second-hand car dealer.

He rose to fame as “ Matthew” in “Game On”, but since then has appeared in many other dramas, such as “Grafters” and “The Sins”.

His good nature and ability to be “one of the lads” made him very popular among the supporting actors, many of whom have told me what a pleasure it was and what good fun they had working alongside him during the production of Faith.
