However, the Councils of Doncaster and Stainforth have had nearly 2 years to produce proposals to develop the site for the benefit of Stainforth people but nothing seems to have been produced. In an article in the Doncaster Star 21/6/2001 Councillor Jeffress stated "We are adamant that the redundant school building will be immediately reoccupied by an organisation which will bring prestige to Stainforth" When is this dynamic organisation coming, we are waiting!! During that time I have heard many residents beat up on this village,can I just say there is a lot happening to improve the area of Stainforth this week saw the launch of an Action Plan to improve the area. Its easy to sit on ure rump and complain , hows about getting off the sofa and do something about it.
