By the end of the afternoon
an assortment of fabulous creatures, evidence
of the work of volunteer face painters,
were taking in the delightfully warm early
summer sun, which turned out right on time
to make the day a truly wonderful family
and community affair.
The people behind S.U.N. are
local people, all volunteers, who are trying
to promote pride in the community and a
return to the community values of old. The
group aims to help local people bring about
a change in Stainforth, to promote positive
thinking with regards to Stainforth's once
tarnished image, and to guide and advise
anyone who undertakes any project aimed
at benefiting the community.
At last the Sun is shining
on Stainforth!

everyone who took part and all who donated
